  • Marie Bassil, MS, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist- Group Practice Owner & Founder; Clinical Supervisor

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist specializing in therapy for OCD, trauma and PTSD, and child & adolescent issues. I maintain a group private practice in Redlands, CA.

I take an integrative approach to therapy, customized to the unique needs of each client. Approaches range from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) for OCD, to EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) therapy for trauma, PTSD, or difficult memories, with mind-body somatic regulation skills. I draw upon my learned experience when completing training to become a certified yoga teacher when helping clients to become more in touch with their mind-body connection and learn to regulate anxiety.

As an EMDR trained therapist, many of my clients experiencing co-occurring anxiety and trauma have found that incorporating EMDR into their sessions has allowed us to move beyond areas where they have previously felt “stuck” and progress in therapy more quickly.

Whatever you are currently struggling with, it does not define you. I will help you to separate your issues from your identity and create a new perspective on yourself and your life based on resilience.
